very festive at the holidays! Wonderful customer service-the gents behind the meat counter are just the best ever. Great service in general-very friendly & efficient. Excellent produce & selection of groceries and easy to maneuver through. A wonderful store!
This is my husband's Google account. My husband is a veteran and on Veterans day last week we went to take advantage of the sales at Festival like we do every year. Usually I have great things to say about Festival because I am a huge fan of their store hours, their bakery, and a variety of items that I have only ever been able to find at their stores. But because of the TRASH they handed out to the men and women who served their country this year, I am debating on whether they're going to ever have my business again. The bags of ham they gave out were immediately bad. It was turning color when we brought it home and we came straight home when we left the store which is about 2 miles away. By the next day, you could smell it without the refrigerator door even being open. We had to throw it out by the end of the second day. On the 6th of Nov., I bought a loaf of bread at Walmart from Bimbo. Tonight I got the last 4 pieces of that out to make my husband's sandwiches and they were still good. I had to use those because out of the two loaves of bread given to us by festival, two different brands, yesterday when I tried to use the white bread, it was so molded it stunk and hadn't even been opened before that, and today the wheat bread had big green spots all over it. I think the worst part is that I'd already fed him two pieces earlier today that thankfully weren't molded but the entire rest of the loaf was. The one can of liquid death mountain water we were given was the most disgusting water either of us had ever attempted to drink. We are not by any means too good for handouts. We are always appreciative of any blessing we receive. I guess it just bothers me that after two tours in Iraq, Festival just wanted to unload their outdated food that was already bad in the store onto my husband and disguise that as generosity. We've not encountered anything like this before from Festival and I sincerely hope that you'll do better to the ones who come next. No one is asking for food that's entirely free. You could have paid your respects to our veterans by having a good sale or something. But please, if you're going to give stuff away, don't give our veterans garbage that can seriously be harmful to their health. This is ridiculous. Thanks
I got something from the deli this morning and when I heated it up for lunch I noticed that it smelt kind of weird, and upon looking at the label, it was 3 days past its best by date. Normally I don't mind but I had gotten a tator tot casserole, which has meat in it and bad meat will definitely get you sick. The staff were friendly though and the hot bar looked well taken care of, I'll make sure to check that out next time.
Great selection, nice and clean, staff friendly and available if you need assistance. Easy to navigate around the store. Plenty of parking.
Festival always has fresh produce, meats, and bakery items. Great selection of name brands you won't find at other stores. Their frozen pizza selection is huge. Sometimes they'll even have the Brat Barn open outside with freshly cooked hamburgers and brats available.
Nice place but priced are too high.
Aldis is a good place to compare pricing, or Walmart, or Woodmans.
I love the ease of shopping at Festival and finding bottom dollar deals. Shop Smart.
Good option and customer service. Nice and clean. Great fresh food, meats etc.
Favorite store! Has all my needs from Wisconsin cheese 🧀 to fruits, vegetables which are fresh, meats that are wonderful to name brand and generic foods that tastes great. …
